Well what can I say? Laughs, there were many! A fantastic week was had by everyone down at the Throwleigh Centre, near Okehampton. The apprentices got stuck in to all the activities and although some struggled with the culture shock!! By the end of the week everyone had settled into a routine and the group gelled really well. Throughout the course of the week the apprentices achieved three qualifications: Employers Awareness, Community Sports Leaders Award and Emergency First Aid. They worked hard and they played harder, I hope the video will give you a snap shot of how it went. Well done to all who took part and to all the 2nd Chance staff, including the legendary Dave from Activ First, and a massive thank you to Lou and Paul from Community Action North Devon, who helped make it all happen not forgetting the amazing Di who kept us well fed the whole week!
