Last week 2nd Chance met the next round of Apprentices from Active Trowbridge. Funded through the Future Jobs Fund, 18 young people aged 18-24 have the opportunity to embark on an Apprenticeship in Activity Leadership with Active Trowbridge and 2nd Chance. They will coach a wide range of sports and activities across numerous primary schools around Trowbridge and over the course of the next year gain a range of coaching qualifications, experience and training to shape their development as community sports coaches.

We had a lot of fun with them over two days looking at the fundamentals of coaching and starting their Community Sports Leaders Award. They were a fun group with plenty of potential and initiative. Below you can see one of them improvising with a bit of beat box when no CD Player was available - genius!
