This is an Invitation for partners to attend 2nd Chance's third Community Forum and
networking event.
If you are one of our partners or wish to be, then we would like
to invite you to the 3rd Community Forum and networking event at HMP &
YOI Ashfield (Venue provided by SERCO).
To find out more about the forum have a look at what took place at the
previous ones.
The forum will take place on Wednesday 18th August 2010, from 0930hours
– 1500hours. It only costs £2 and this covers cost of lunch, which lets
face it is a bargain and we all know times are tough. All you have to do
is email Justin with any additional persons you may wish to bring,
together with your: Job Title and Work Address.
You will need to bring two forms of identification and your £2. Please
note due to this being held within a custodial establishment you are not
able to bring any form of technology or contraband into the venue
(lockers are limited but available in the gate house and visitors
bungalow).
If you answer ‘YES’ to any of the following, this event is a must for
you:
Do you need to get your organisation or work understood by other
organisations?
Do you want to meet more professional people that can and do support
young people?
Can you help the Youth Justice Board South West Consortium in the task
of providing service to the criminal justice system (both community and
custody)?
Do you wish to learn more about working with the hard to reach?
Do you wish to learn about the best practice projects currently engaging
young people?
Do you believe in the WIN, WIN approach for effective partnerships for
the prevention of victims within our society as a whole?
Do you have to think about finding organisations that can support
effective resettlement issues within our society?
We have Urban Wise Media giving a presentation demonstrating how they
are bringing the Youth of Bristol together through media, and also a
Holistic Approach workshop that will generate and collect the knowledge
of all attending to demonstrate the power of networking and the resource
it provides.
