OUR MD GRADUATE'S FROM ‘COSMIC COLLEGE’

Five South West graduates attain certificates for Leadership in Social Enterprise

On Wed 7th September ‘Cosmic College’ held a graduation event at its Honiton HQ.  The event was for the first five pilot Pioneers who successfully completed Cosmic’s first Leadership in Social Enterprise qualification.  The course was a pilot project funded through the European Social Fund. 

There were four graduates from Devon and one from Bristol:  Michelle Virgo – Zebra Collective, Plymouth; Dawn Dines – SOS Global, Exeter; Kym Lee – Hele Hub CIC, Torquay; Colin Matthews – Paperchain, Exeter and James Mapstone – 2nd Chance Project, Bristol.

Julie Harris commented:  “This is quite a day for our first batch of graduates and also all of us at Cosmic.  There is a real need for strong leadership in social enterprise, and the popularity of this programme and the quality of our students proved to us just how important professional qualifications in this field are.   I look forward to seeing the growth of our pioneers individual ventures and working with them as mentors as we move into the next phase of our Pioneer Programme with the University of Plymouth.”
