Give and Gain day with Lloyds Bank

On Wed 2nd November 2011 Young people from 2nd Chance's @LIFE programme teamed up with Lloyds Bank to make a positive contribution to their community, in their annual 'Give and Gain Day'.

Together we worked alongside the Bristol City Council Parks department to clear up brambles and flower beds at the Netham Park & Pavillion in Barton Hill.

Parkeeper Andy Simmons said "The day went really well, and it was great to see 2nd Chance lads helping out at the Park. The bankers mixed well with the young people and is was great to see some good teamwork in operation, and the weather was kind to us -which is always a bonus".

We are very thankful for the effort made by our learners from both the @Life programme based at the Netham and the Friday Project based in Knowle West.
