What was life like before 2nd Chance?
Well I wasn't quite sure about what I wanted to do with my life, I was on Job Seekers which I was embarrassed about and hated. I had plans but they all seemed too far fetched or impossible to get due to my qualifications. I've always wanted to do something in sports as this type of work suits me best but I could never afford to pay fees for college to get the qualifications and I didn't know where to go to get work. I saw a chance to get the dream job so I took it.

What was life like with 2nd Chance?
I can honestly say that 2nd Chance has changed my life, this is the first thing that I've put all my effort into and it has came out well for me. I have grown in confidence, I now have responsibilities in the work I have, I've learnt skills that will help me with the rest of my life. I found the course really fun, I really did enjoy it and I feel that I couldn't of got half the information that I got from 2nd Chance from any where else. I got to work with loads of inspirational people that I have learnt so much from. Here comes the cheesey part; 2nd Chance has opened so many doors for me and given me a new lease of life, honestly.

What are your plans for the future and how did 2nd Chance Project help?
The plans I have are to become a high level coach, work as much as I can, learn as much as I can on the way, make money, meet new people and maybe in the future open my own franchize of football schools. Without 2nd Chance none of this would of been possible, as I said before 2nd Chance has opened doors for me. 2nd Chance Project gave me the chance to get some where in life.

What would you say to other young people who were thinking about getting involved in the 2nd Chance Project?
Don't be worried if you're not confident or don't have a clue about coaching you will learn so many life skills and gain loads of confidence, if you want to be a coach or just want a job that keeps you active (instead of working in a shop behind the tills etc.) then sign up for this. You will learn all the basic skills to become a coach and how to better yourself as a coach, you get loads of qualifications and meet new people who will help with any problems. Join up, give it your all and I promise you won't regret it!

All the best
