Q- What was life like before 2nd Chance Project?
Before the 2nd Chance Project I never thought I would be employed as a sports coach, although it’s something I considered I never motivated myself to do so, and also not knowing what it’s like to have money each month I could do things that I couldn’t before, now I have the qualifications and knowledge to take myself further as a coach and as a person.
Q- What was life like with 2nd Chance Project?
Life with 2nd Chance helped me out massively, to get the opportunity to get the qualifications and the guidance to become a sports coach I can safely say this is something I can see myself doing from now. To come in to a group of people meeting for the first time and to feel welcome was great, 2nd Chance Project has changed my life massively for the better.
Q- What are your plans for the future and how did 2nd Chance Project help?
My plans for the future would be to continue with street games which the 2nd chance project found and got me employed, I am also going to take myself further and do my level two coaching and any other courses that are available, in the future I am hoping to set up my own youth side.
Q- What would you say to other young people who were thinking about getting involved in the 2nd Chance Project?
I would say if you get the opportunity to get involved in the 2nd Chance Project then you should do it, it’s a good experience, you will get some good qualifications, meet new people and will be shown the path to employment, its helped me as a coach and more so as a person.
