The Urban Wise Movement is the follow on from our original Urban Wise Media Project ran in collaboration with Knowle West Media Centre and HMP & YOI Ashfield.

The aim of our previous project was to create positive change in the lives of young people leaving the criminal justice system and /or those at risk of offending.  We wished to promote the value of young peoples’ life experiences through multi-media platforms, consequentially raising aspirations, challenging perceptions and giving young people the opportunity to become skilled in media production.

Last year UrbanWise produced a range of videos with local young people which you can see below.

This year we want to continue supporting young people in gaining skills, confidence and express themselves creatively through media, music, urban art, in fact anything they want to!
