* Foundation For Learning
Get yourself ready for work with the Foundation for Learning Programme. This course focuses on Literacy, Numeracy and Employability and lasts 12 weeks, this breaks down as 12 hours per week including 8 hours of sport. The level is Entry 1,2,&3

* 2nd Chance @ Life Programme Level 1 and Level 2
Many modules link in to form a full time course.  Although not accredited on the national framework for education at present a City of Bristol College certificate will be obtained on completion. Individual modules are available to study on short term courses. This course focuses on life skills and gives you practical experience which could help you get a job. Sport is at the core and includes Football, Cricket, Basketball, Rugby and Self Defence. All academic work will revolve around sport all you need to succeed in this course is passion, desire and commitment to further develop your life

The course also looks at all areas and challenges you face in life. Issues such as; anger management, drugs & alcohol, anti-social behaviour, nutrition, family values, sport fitness and general fitness are covered and you will receive practical Sport/Coaching for 16 hours per week. These sessions will also help generate evidence towards your academic work. The course runs for 36 weeks.

If you are passionate about sport and want to coach others these courses will play a major part in your development:
   
* NVQ Level 1 and NVQ Level 2 Coaching Teaching & Instructing Association Football
The two courses above are City & Guilds qualifications which are again practical specific football qualifications. The level 2 can also form part of an apprenticeship programme.

* Football, Rugby, Cricket, Basketball and Boxing awards will be available at Level 1 and Level 2 depending on your technical knowledge and willingness to learn. All coaching qualifications will delivered by specialist tutors with vast experience and knowledge in the sport. Both awards 16 hours per week for 36 weeks.

* Further Opportunities
Future employment with the 2nd Chance Project could be available to any future coach who participates in the 2nd Chance programmes. Our street teams, who work in local communities to engage youngsters through sport, act as mentors for the aspiring young 2nd Chance coach to help them further develop community sports within their own neighbourhoods. This could be you!
