Sports Development Level 3

An Advanced Apprenticeship in Sports Development is a level 3 programme. This programme is suitable for those in a supervisory role who may mentor other staff, volunteers or coaches in the community. It is aimed at those working in a Sports Development team in a local authority, NGB, School Sports Partnership, or any sporting organisation which runs activity programmes in the community. As well as other level 3 vocational qualifications relevant to their role they will undertake the NVQ which consists of 5 mandatory units and 4 optional units. Learners will also gain Key/Functional Skills Level 2 in Communication and Application of Number, unless you have GCSE C grade Maths and English within the last 5 years.
